Ömer İsmet UZUNYOL (1923 - ∞)Founder
Born in Istanbul in 1923, Mr. Ömer İsmet Uzunyol completed his high school education in Istanbul; He worked as a Chief in Eminönü Tax Office. After that, Uzunyol worked as Accounting Manager at Zonguldak Karadon Coal Enterprises and Fethiye Bradway Port Management. He started to work as Accounting and Sales Marketing Manager at Marshall Boya in 1954.
Ömer İsmet Uzunyol, who implemented the multi-partner management model following the Marshall Boya partners’ decision to sell shares, served as the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors as the second largest partner of Marshall Boya.
He founded the Eminiş Ambalaj Chemical Industry Company in 1971 and served as the chairman of the board of directors of many companies such as Uzunyol Ambalaj, Uzunyol Turizm, Uzbaş as well as Eminiş Ambalaj. Together with Marshall General Manager Mustafa Feridun UZUNYOL, he started the process of selling Marshall’s shares to Akzo Nobel in 1998 and completed the share transfer in 2010.
In addition to his commercial activities, he took responsibility for the restoration of Hereke Sümerbank residences after the 1999 Izmit earthquake and enabled Kocaeli University, which suspended the education process for two years due to the earthquake, to continue its education process on the Hereke Ömer İsmet UZUNYOL campus. Mr. Ömer İsmet UZUNYOL, who is married to Necla UZUNYOL, has two children.
He attained the mercy of the right on 14.08.2022.
Mustafa Feridun UZUNYOLFounder
Born in Istanbul in 1957, Mr. Mustafa Feridun Uzunyol completed his high school education at Austrian High School and his undergraduate education at the Department of Business Administration at Johannes Kepler University in Austria-Linz. Between 1982 and 1984, he completed his master’s degree in financial management at Wagner College, New York.
Between 1983-1985, he worked at London Case Makina Marketing Company as the assistant general manager responsible for sales and marketing in Ireland, Scotland and England.
Marketing Manager at Marshall Auto Repair Paints in 1986; He worked as Marshall Paint Factory Manager in 1989, General Manager of Hoechst Auto Paints in 1991, General Manager of Marshall Paint in 1994, General Manager of Dupont Turkey between 1998-2005 and also General Manager of Akzo Nobel Turkey.
He played an active role in the opening of the Paint Technology Vocational School at Kocaeli University, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Kocaeli University in 2008 for his contributions to the University and Kocaeli province.
He has memberships in TUSIAD, KIPLAS, TİSK, Micro Surgery Foundation (Board of Trustees), Kidney Foundation (Board of Trustees), BOSAD, KOÜ (Membership of the Board of Trustees), IMSAD, YASED, IZODER, Yeşilyurt Deniz Club, Enka Sports Club.
Mr. Uzunyol, who is married and has 2 children, speaks English and German very well.
Ahmet Ferit UZUNYOLChairman of the Board of Directors
Born in 1989, Mr. Ahmet Ferit Uzunyol completed his high school education at Saint Benoit High School and his university education at the University of Miami in International Finance and Marketing.
After working in many departments at Eminiş A.Ş., he actively works as the Sales & Marketing Manager in addition to his duties on the Board of Directors. He is a member of the advisory board at Kocaeli University Hereke Ömer İsmet Uzunyol Vocational School, and also gives business and marketing courses.
He is the Chairman of the Advisory Board at AIESEC Kocaeli Association. He is a member of Turmepa Association. He is also the representative of our company’s ISO, ASD, SEPA and İKMİB associations. He takes an active role in many social responsibility projects. Mr. Uzunyol is married and has 1 child. He is fluent in English and French.
Hatice Füsun UZUNYOL KUTLUDeputy Chairman of the Board of Directors
She was born in 1955.
After her secondary education, she completed some of her high school education in England and her university education in Atatürk Education English Department.
He started working at Marshall Paint A.Ş. at the age of 18.
After her retirement, she worked in the Antika company she founded in Istanbul for more than 20 years.
She has been involved in many social responsibility projects throughout her working life. Bosnia and Herzegovina solidarity associations took part in Beşiktaş Kemalism panels together with Türkan Saylan.
She is married and has a good command of English.
Berna UZUNYOLBoard Member
She was born in 1967 in Istanbul.
After graduating from Fevziye Schools Foundation Işık High School in 1984, she graduated from Marmara English Economics Department with a degree in 1988. Between 1999 and 2012, she managed her own store in the field of furniture decoration.
She still runs the Havandan İstanbul restaurant.
She is fluent in English. She is married to Mustafa Feridun Uzunyol and has 2 children and two grandchildren.
